Susan R. Smith, CPA

Assistant Controller

Susan joined InSite Realty Partners, LP (InSite) in June 1999.  She is trained in both MRI (Management Reports International) and Yardi Voyager accounting software.  Susan prepares monthly financial statements and electronic reporting for numerous owners as well as quarterly reports for various investors and lenders.  She also works on annual tax returns and franchise tax returns for all partnership and corporate entities.

Susan graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a degree in Business Administration.  She received her Certified Public Accountant license in 1987.  After working in public accounting for six years, Susan transitioned into the real estate accounting world and worked with Michael Stevens Interests, Inc. and Beeler Properties, Inc before joining InSite.  She has extensive experience in commercial office, industrial warehouse and multi-family accounting.

Susan served eleven years on her neighborhood community association in various positions, including treasurer and president.  She and her family are longtime active members of John Knox Presbyterian Church, where she serves on several committees.
