Alan S. Ratterree

Alan Ratterree co-founded InSite Realty Partners, L.P. in 1994 to capitalize on investment opportunities and provide development, acquisition and leasing and management services in the Houston market.  He has directed many of InSite’s acquisitions of quality industrial, office, multi-family and land properties. Alan’s development resume includes speculative multi to single tenant industrial properties, net lease build-to-suits and commercial land developments.

Alan began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in Houston in 1988. His responsibilities as Marketing Principal included directing the leasing effort for several million square feet of properties and negotiating the disposition of land and industrial properties.  At InSite, Alan has been integral to the development of over 4.22 million square feet of institutional quality properties. Additionally, he has assisted in the leasing and management of InSite’s successful investments of over $9.6 million SF. 

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1981, Alan joined Arco Oil and Gas Company as a petroleum engineer where he spearheaded a multi-million dollar gas drilling effort in South Texas. In 1986, Alan enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he earned his Masters of Business Administration in finance and real estate.
